Cecil Pines is an active senior community of outgoing neighbors who enjoy each other's company. Our residents celebrate life every single day. And you can clearly see that energy in our calendar of social events. On any given day, you'll see our residents gathered around a picnic table enjoying a barbeque or sharing favorite recipes at one of our monthly potluck dinners.

Some annual events get our community buzzing. Our Antique Car Show and Cookout features a variety of nostalgic automobiles from the 1920s through the 1970s. All of the proceeds benefit Alzheimer’s disease research. The Cecil Pines Anniversary Party is always a major highlight of the year with many of our military residents reminiscing about life at Cecil Air Field. And the holiday party brings people of all faiths together to celebrate the season.

Off campus, you can enjoy a wide range of events, like Jacksonville's Senior Games and the Senior Expo at the nearby convention center. Our culture aficionados flock to the electrifying Jacksonville Jazz Festival and the multicultural World of Nations Celebration.
