Questions?
- What type of community is Cecil Pines?
Cecil Pines is a non-profit active adult retirement community that offers a maintenance-free lifestyle designed for seniors age 60 or better.
- What size are your accommodations?
Unlike most senior communities, Cecil Pines offers homes rather than apartments. We have spacious 1200-1500 sq ft duplex and single-family homes and all are single story. Even with these desirable living spaces, our rates rival those of many apartment communities.
- Do you accept pets?
Yes. Because Cecil Pines residents live in homes rather than apartments, and because we are located on 53 acres, we are able to accommodate pets quite easily. We do require that dogs and cats reside inside your home and we do have weight limits and certain breed restrictions. Give us a call and we'll be happy to go over the requirements in detail.
- Do you have a wait list and how long will it take to get in?
There is a wait list program that requires a $300 deposit. This deposit is totally refundable at any time for any reason. Wait time for an average accommodation is approximately 4-12 months.
- Do you have a secure place I can park my RV and what is the cost?
Cecil Pines does provide a secure, fenced area for parking RVs. There is no charge for this service.
- What type of TV reception service is available?
All homes are wired for cable TV. In addition, you may use a small satellite dish service if desired. High definition reception is available through the cable service.
- What type of computer connectivity is available?
Conventional dial-up modem service is available through your telephone line. In addition, high-speed cable and DSL through Bell South is available.
